After getting the flu shot, you may experience some mild side effects such as soreness, redness, or swelling at the injection site. Some people may also experience a low-grade fever or aches. These side effects are usually mild and subside within a day or two.

If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can receive a free publicly funded flu shot at Public Health, your local pharmacy, or our clinic. After receiving the flu shot, please wait in the waiting room for 15 minutes in case of an allergic reaction.
